NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) -- Paxton Schafer made 23 saves to record
his second straight shutout and help the New Orleans Brass
blank the Baton Rouge Kingfish, 5-0. Schafer, who shutout
Mississippi, 1-0, March 22, now has eight career shutouts.
Shawn Mather scored his first hat trick of the season for New
Orleans, which improved to 3-1-0 over its last four. Mather
now has six goals and seven assists in March. Brian Leitza
allowed five goals on 48 shots to suffer the loss for Baton
Rouge, which fell to 0-2-1 in its last three games.
