The
Kingfish finished the week 1-1-1 which was enough to move into fourth in the
Southwest Division. Defenseman Keith Bland had a career night scoring twice and
assisting once in a 3-2 victory over Arkansas. Bland had one goal and one
assist all of last season. Although, Keith was only assessed a double minor for
an obvious fight in the third period, he will be granted the prestigious
“Gordie Howe Hattrick.” The Howe Hattrick is when a player scores a goal and an
assist and gets into a fight. FYI: Cam Brown recorded a Gordie Howe Hattrick
against Florida earlier this season.
