The Kingfish managed to win two consecutive road games
for the first time this season and in doing so briefly climbed above the .500
mark in winning percentage. Saturday’s shut out over Greenville piggy backed a
4-1 victory in Augusta one night earlier. Goaltender Brian Leitza returned to
the form that had him the talk of the town in late October garnering his league leading 3rd
shut out against the Grrrowl. Team scoring leader Sean Berens returned from a
rib injury and scored the game winner in Augusta Friday night.

This is the third trip to the Big Easy for the Fish. They are down 0-2 to the Brass having lost 3-2 and 5-4 in a shoot out.

The last of the six game road swing for the Kingfish. First of three visits to Pensacola. The teams split two games in Baton Rouge.

This will be the only Tiger Shark sighting of the regular season. Tallahassee forward Brent Cullaton leads the league in scoring with 35 points.

12/01 Kingfish 4 at Lynx 1
C.J. Buzzell, playing center, scored just 15
seconds into the game. C Sean Berens
scored the game winner late in first period, on a feed from D Keith Bland, to extend his point
scoring streak to nine games.
12/02 Kingfish 3 at Grrrowl 0
Goaltender Brian Leitza stopped all 42 shots in the
victory. The newest Kingfish F Matt Erredge assisted on C Mike Rucinski’s first period
goal and scored his first ECHL goal in the second period.
12/03 Kingfish 3 at Lynx 6
The Kingfish had one bad period this weekend
at is was the third of this game. The Lynx scored four times in the final frame
to seal the victory. Berens netted two times and Erredge scored his second in
as many games to account for the Kingfish offense.

Clear Channel Com. hosts “Art for the Season” from 8:30 – 4:00 on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Kingfish will represented by staff members, Huey and the Inflatable. On Sunday, Dec. 10, from 3:00 to game time, Huey and the Inflatable will be set up for a Tailgate Party with prize giveaways. The Party is in conjunction with Toys for Tots.
