centerman Torrey DiRoberto to the Baton Rouge Kingfish of the East Coast
Hockey League. DiRoberto, 21, has played 37 games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League this season registering 6 goals and 5 assists and 59 penalty minutes. The 5’10”, 180 lb., DiRoberto from Utica, New York, was a fifth round pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Last season (his first professionally) he played 73 games with Cincinnati accumulating 18 goals and 34 points. “Acquiring Torrey continues to establish our program with Anaheim,” said Kingfish Head Coach David Lohrei, “he brings to us another forward with the capability of creating offense”. |
